What’s the US Invasion of Venezuela All About?
It's about oil, but more so it's about currency. Venezuela, along with several other major importers/exporters of natural resources, have been moving away from the US dollar as a way of negating the impact of US sanctions. They are trading in crypto currencies, local currencies, etc. That's what the BRICS movement is about, setting up an international trade payment system that does not require trade with the US dollar. International trade is where the dollar gets it's value. The only other thing backing it is US military might. The Maduro administration has set up multiple revenue streams for it's natural resources independent of the US dollar.
That's what makes him an enemy of the United States. Not drugs. Not human rights violations. Independent currency. They're going to put a regime in place that's going to make sure that the only way you can purchase oil in Venezuela is through the SWIFT system (which is base on USD). US oil companies will be given card blanche to operate and will extract record profits (that won't benefit you). Venezuela will be destabalized and many of the services that was disrupted by US sanctions will be abolished all together.
The only "freedom" the US EVER fights for is "free markets". The only "democracy" the US ever fights for is "controlled opposition" democracy. Trump just took the US from circumventing international law to saying "F" international law. From fox to wolf. And whether we like how its done or not, as a consumer society that would rather live in debt with luxuries than to live within it's actual means, and definitely one that doesn't want to see it's currency being held to its ACTUAL value, apart of staying afloat means being apart of a criminal enterprise. What I like about the direct approach is that it exposes more hard truths. JFK killed Patrice Lumumba and tried to kill Castro. Bush got Hussein executed. Obama killed Qadafi. Trump abducted the Maduros. All of them violated international law. None of them did it to protect people. And the each time, the only thing we were really worried about was the price of gas.
Heck, by historical US standards, Trump is being nice. For months I've been wondering what the billionaires have been ordering Trump to do. Now I think I know. "Save the dollar". That "billion" ain't liquid. It's based on "value". I'm sure Zuckerberg got a few "Yuan" in the bank, but the bulk of that 200 billion is American "paper" that's worthless without the power to make people use it.
"We" gangstaz, y'all. Wolves. Now either accept that and wave the flag, vote to go back to being "foxes", dismantle the system and truly become democratic defenders of freedom, or divest and LEAVE. But STOP pretending that this country has changed. STOP pretending that there is a major party that doesn't agree with the results. STOP lying to yourself and saying that "this is not what American values are all about". YES IT IS. WE DON'T TRULY CRY FOR ANYONE, AND WON'T DIE FOR ANYTHING outside of our own indulgence. Our sensitivity toward humanity has been thoroughly diminished and domesticated. The US Military are the "Money Police", not the "defenders of the free world". Money, that collectively you and I get a whopping 3% share of, and you splitting that with your 50 million brothas and sistas. But I digress.
What’s happening in Venezuela is the “American way” of doing business. It’s also how we keep our rich, rich. How we keep our poor, poor. And how we keep our dollar worth more than the paper that it’s printed on. I keep using the possessive pronouns. I guess it’s getting harder to pretend like I’m not apart of it. Thank God for clarity. Peace…
